Fashion, smashion. Personal style is where it’s at. Fashion changes like most people change underwear. Personal style is more longer lasting. One notable exception to the speed at which fashion changes, however, is the length of shorts for guys. We’ve been stuck with long, baggy shorts ever since the 1990s. It’s time for a return to shorts that are actually short. Not that the longer ones shouldn’t continue to be available, but let’s give guys some choices already.
This is what sucks about fashion: Lack of choice. Here ya go, guys, we’re only going to make shorts in one length for you. For the ladies, we’re gonna give ’em everything from cheeky bun huggers to baggy basketball shorts, but for you, you can have jean shorts that are barely above the knee, longer cargo shorts, and even longer basketball shorts. Oh, and to add insult to injury, here’s some calf-length shorts too. If the shorts cover the knee, I might as well wear pants! Whatever happened to shorts for guys that are actually short?
