Xian Lim admitted he wasn't the one starting his split with Kim Chiu.
On Wednesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the King of Talk asked the Kapuso actor whether he and Kim remained friends since that they had split ways.
Of course. Naagulat ako tanong. Of course, yeah," he responded.
Xian stated they hadn't spoken since their divorce last year.
"Maayos 'yung pag-uusap namin na that night. Of course, merong iyakan, but 'di ba' we passed through twelve years with that assurance. Twelve years of life, hence it has that respect, you know?" Said he.
"To be really honest, I wasn't the one separating. 'Yun lang po siya. That's that straightforward, he remarked. "I wasn't the one that started the split."
Xian added that although their supporters felt misled and outraged, particularly against him, his record is "clean."
"I believe the length of [the relationship] speaks for itself and 'yung mga pambabatikos sa 'kin ng karamihan, I think they should just look at it from a lens na, I never had; my record is clean and I'm happy of it. You know? You're not gonna see me in areas you're not supposed to see me.
"The time tells for itself. Just sad, maraming intriga na lumalabas, especially against me," he said.
He also mentioned that he doesn't want his film, "Playtime," to seem like it's generating noise for the sake of promotion.
Xian and Kim revealed their December last year breakup. The former pair kept their 12-year relationship's ending's reason under secret.
November saw rumors of their breakup beginning to circulate, which led Xian to speak out.
Xian acknowledged last month in a magazine interview that he is seeing movie producer Iris Lee, but he also stressed that they just began dating following his breakup with Kim.
Xian also remarked in an interview with GMA Integrated News he does not deserve the unfounded charges being leveled on him after their breakup.
