Seahawks releasing LB Bobby Wagner after trading Wilson | AP News

The Seattle Seahawks enlisted in the Public Football Association (NFL) in 1976 with the Tampa Narrows Buccaneers.[1] They partook in their most memorable draft, the 1976 NFL draft and chose Steve Niehaus, a protective tackle from Notre Lady. The group's latest first-round determination was in 2022, when they picked Charles Cross, a hostile tackle.

Consistently during April, each NFL establishment tries to add new players to its list through a university draft known as "the NFL Yearly Player Choice Gathering", which is all the more ordinarily known as the NFL Draft. Groups are positioned in reverse request in view of the past season's record, with the most terrible record picking first, and the subsequent most obviously awful picking second, etc. The two special cases for this request are made for groups that showed up in the past Super Bowl; the Super Bowl champion generally picks 32nd, and the Super Bowl failure generally picks 31st. Groups have the choice of exchanging away their picks to different groups for various picks, players, cash, or a mix thereof. Hence, it is entirely expected for a group's genuine draft pick to vary from their relegated draft pick, or for a group to have extra or no draft picks in any round due to these trades.[2]

The Seahawks have never chosen the main by and large pick in any draft, in spite of the fact that they have chosen the subsequent generally pick two times, the third in general pick multiple times and the fourth generally pick two times. The group's three determinations from Notre Woman are the most picked by the Seahawks from one college.

Atlanta Braves pitcher Spencer Strider was cruising in Monday night's game against the Miami Marlins.

The 24-year-old right-hander was perfect through six and still had a no-hitter going into the eighth inning. With one out in the top of the eighth, the Marlins' Jean Segura reached down and poked a single into left field.

The 33-year-old, two-time All-Star smiled as he jogged to first and flipped the bat as he was running down the line. The Marlins were trailing 8-0 at the time.

Strider yielded another single to the next batter, Jon Berti, but then closed the eighth with two strikeouts to end his night. He struck out 13 on 101 pitches, 81 of them strikes.

“Segura is a really good out-of-the-zone hitter, so you don’t really know where to throw it,” Strider said. “I probably should’ve thrown it over the backstop. He couldn’t have reached it. He’s got pretty good hand-eye coordination. At least I didn’t hang him a slider.”

Strider lost his chance at a perfect game in the seventh inning, when two-time Gold Glove-winning first baseman Matt Olson booted what appeared to be a routine ground ball off the bat of Jazz Chisholm Jr.

No Braves pitcher has thrown a no-hitter since Kent Mercker did on April 8, 1994.
