On Aug. 28, the NFL player let it be known when he attended a roundtable event sponsored by Kansas City Chiefs broadcaster Mitch Holthus alongside colleagues Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Justin Reid, and Harrison Butker.
Before the emcee sarcastically inquired if Kelce would "love me more than Taylor," he told Holthus on behalf of his other players, "We love you."
The tight end stammered, "maybe not," after a beat.
Holthus later joked that he wouldn't ask Mahomes, who has been blissfully married to his high school love Brittany Mahomes since 2022, that question.
"I won't hold you up to that," he said to the quarterback. "I know that response."
