What Is The Point Of Women To Carry Expensive Bags?

I’m a women and I see no point at all. Yeah, I may not be a millionaire nor someone who earns more than 4k a month. Even with my highest salary where I once got a bonus of x3, I didn’t even splurge on branded goods unlike my cousins and co-worker. Neh. It means absolutely nothing to me. No doubt that some brands has awesome designs and colours. But to throw away more than $200 on something which may get easily torn, cut, burnt, etc, it is worthless no matter what people say that it’s an investment.

I rather buy gold. Gold bar, earrings, rings, necklace, gold pandora bracelet and add on charms every month which automatically increases the value because even in times of dire, it can be the best saviour of all.

A bag? Though yeah, if the quality is awesome, it just take a second to scratch a leather bag and make it useless, a minute to cut, a moment to burn. Gold? Though it has scratches, the value remains.

I’d rather spent my hard earn money on properties, travels and activities like diving, donating, charity. It has more value and more point to it. Atleast if someday there’s a natural disaster, I don’t have to be stressed out thinking about saving all of my branded goods since all of my valuable items are on my body! =)

Besides, less item is more eco friendly and saving the Earth. I wish more women would realise how much they have actually destroy this Earth through their wants and desires.

The point of carrying expensive bags is mostly snob value. I usually buy Coach bags, either from the outlet or online on sale. No point in paying full price if I don’t have to. I like Coach products. They are well-made and last a good long time, whether fabric or leather. You get what you pay for. Once you go over about $300 for a bag you are really paying for the snob value. No bag is worth $3000 unless you have so much money you have no problem buying whatever you like. If I buy cheap bags, they don’t last. Vinyl (or whatever you like to call it) doesn’t last, so I never buy that.

Women like to carry expensive bags because:

1. They may want to show off their wealth to others and make them feel jealous about it.

2. They may be very fond of using such bags just because they like using them.

3. Some women have developed a habit of using expensive bags and they don't feel unusual about it.By the way it doesn't really matter if u have a cheap or an expensive bag because the only thing which should be there is money or cards. So don't care about what others will think and use the type of bags which are feasible to buy according to your own budget.
