magazines such as Vogue are good, also watching runway shows is great if you want to get in there really early. a lot of the time the clothes might look over the top however many of their features are incorporated into the trends that follow.
Pinterest is my favourite app for finding clothes I like, although there is a lack of diversity and plus sized people wearing the clothes on Pinterest. However, you can build a mood board to work out what trends you like.
another good way is looking at fast fashion websites. While you should try not to buy from these shops as they abuse their workers in poorer countries, if you look at the clothes they’re selling you will quickly see the current trends, though they may not be sustainable.
finally, my advice would be to worry less about fashion trends and simply think about whether you like the clothes and will continue to do so. I used to waste so much money on clothes just because my friends had them, recently I started ignoring the trends and simply looking for clothes I like. This way, I have a more unique fashion sense and I feel more authentic.
i hope this helps <3
