Futuristic front and back design compliment the sedan’s sweeping body. Inside the interior, the Sonata benefits from beautiful and upmarket features. Available all-wheel drive broadens the Sonata’s marketability to buyers who reside in places with poor weather. Rather than improving performance, this version of Hyundai's car instead focuses on boosting confidence on slick surfaces.
So far, we’ve been impressed by the upgraded Sonata. In our test of the sportier N Line model, we commended its comfortable suspension adjustment and fast acceleration. The Sonata remains an excellent bargain, delivering loads of tech with its most powerful gasoline variant for a fair starting price. Although it boasts a soft ride, the hybrid model suffers from poor acceleration and a powertrain that seems uncertain during spirited driving. We still think it’s worth a look if you want exceptional fuel efficiency.
