Well, 95% of the time, the fight is going to end like this.
Why? Then let me just tell you.
First of all, Polar bears are much larger. An average male can weigh up to 450 kilograms (990 pounds), stand 1.2 meters (4 feet) tall at the shoulder, and 2.7 meters (9 feet) long from nose to very short tail. The average male Siberian tiger tiger, on the other hand, can weigh up to 220 kilograms (484 pounds), stand 1.07 meters (3 feet 7 inches) tall at the shoulder, and 1.8 meters (6 feet) long, head and body. As you can see, the Polar bear is 2.05 times heavier, 12% taller, and 50% longer. Here?s a size comparison.
Another big advantage for the bear is bite force. Polar bears can bite with a force of over 545 kilograms (1200 pounds).
Whereas the tiger can only bite with a force of over 455 kilograms (1000 pounds).
If this isn?t enough, the bear also has a lot more stamina than the tiger. Polar bears have incredible stamina in water. They regularly swim around 48 kilometers (30 miles) in a stretch and in one case, up to 352 kilometers (220 miles)!
That?s also the case for tigers but they can only swim around 30 kilometers (19 miles) in a stretch which is about 60%-11.7 times less than that of the bear.
Both have bad stamina on land but the Polar bear has greater stamina on land as well.
Another advantage for the Polar bear is that it?s smarter than the tiger. A polar bear has a much larger brain than the tiger relative to its body size.
But I think the Polar bear?s biggest advantage is that it preys on much larger animals. A Polar bear?s largest prey is the Beluga whale which weighs 1.1 metric tons (1.21 US tons), and measures 3 meters (10 feet) long.
Now I know I?m making the tiger look really bad right now but there are some advantages the tiger has as well.
One big advantage is that it has bigger canine teeth. Polar bears have canines that can grow up to 5 centimeters (2 inches) in length.
Whereas the tiger has canines that can grow up to 10 centimeters in length. Twice as big as those of the Polar bear!
Another big advantage is that the tiger is much, much more agile. Tigers can jump 7.5 meters (25 feet) vertically and 9.9 meters (33 feet) horizontally.
Whereas Polar bears can only jump 1.8 meters (6 feet) vertically and a little higher horizontally.
This shows that the bear has very little agility compared to the tiger.
Another big advantage is for the tiger is speed. The Polar bear can run at a 40 kilometers per hour (25 miles per hour).
Whereas the tiger can run at a speed of up to 80 kilometers per hour (50 miles per hour). Twice as fast as the Polar bear!
But the tiger?s biggest advantage is probably aggressiveness. Polar bears aren?t anywhere near as aggressive as tigers. Polar bears kill only 11 people per year whereas kill 100 people per year.
But even with all these advantages, the Polar bear will still win almost every time. Read Also : I am simply scared to invite this. Did the us invade Iraq in a way similar to how Russia has invaded Ukraine?
