What is consciousness, you ask? Consciousness is a path to knowledge. It is only through our subjective experience of consciousness and its different levels that we can understand it.

What Are The Three Other Levels Of Consciousness As Explained In The Lesson

Consciousness after a course of miracles

Many talented thinkers of all ages and continents have contributed to our current understanding of consciousness. Since Freud, every psychology enthusiast knows that our mind can be defined by three levels of consciousness: the superconscious, the conscious and the subconscious.

My understanding of consciousness is inspired by "A Course in miracles" " (ACIM), which further defines the levels of consciousness in the domains of the human mind: the domain of knowledge, perception, and love or fear.

How do we define ourselves?

We are aware of who we are in terms of our existence as human beings, our surroundings, our past and present, and what we want to experience in the future. Each of us can create a long list of words that define who we are.

It's easy to divert our attention from one thing that captures our attention to another that makes us comfortable directing it. Let's learn to dig into our subconscious, eliminate some fears and reprogram it.

We can expand our consciousness and, above all, we can train our mind to focus our attention on true happiness and joy. The first step is to understand how consciousness works.

So what is consciousness?

With Hemi-Sync, managed from At At the Monroe Institute I explored my perception and different levels of consciousness. By attending several classes at the Monroe Institute with many other people, I was also able to observe how they learned to observe their own levels of consciousness. Studying A Course in Miracles has really helped me better understand the different triggers of the human mind.

What is the mind? And how does it work?

Scientific research has shown that our brain emits different patterns of waves or frequencies when we enter different states of consciousness.

Thanks to the dedicated work by Explorers of consciousness like Robert Monroe, we now know how to influence our brain waves and balance the specific functions of our two hemispheres.

Hemi-Sync technology, for example, is a great help in programming the mind is a very powerful tool for obtaining brainwave entrainment.

Powerful mental training with ACIM

But in my humble opinion the most effective mental training course is "A Course in Miracles", UCIM for short. It teaches us to recognize and activate the power of the mind.

ACIM's explanation of the conscious, subconscious and superconscious mind is split into many different chapters in the urtext version of ACIM and, in my opinion, is a detail important to understand the whole concept of the human mind.

This figure summarizes the ACIM explanation of “What lies beyond consciousness?

The Superconscious – Realm of Knowledge

Superconsciousness is the Divine Mind, the Higher Self, the only one forever connected to knowledge and truth or the Holy Spirit .

From the UCIM explanation of what consciousness is: “The individual mind of a human being is divided into spirit and ego. The spirit is always in contact with God through the Holy Spirit.

In other words, the Self (Note: Self spelled with a capital S), which is the opposite of the Ego, is connected by the higher being. or the mind to divine reality. The being or mind knows it.

The course continues by saying that when the mind replaced the will to know with the will to perceive, it made the ego the perceiver of separation and the body the perceiver of separation. separation became a tool. perceive what the ego wanted to see. The ego is the result of the desire to be separate.

Consciousness - Realm of perception

The conscious mind or the human waking state (when a person is not And) . sleep) has become the domain of perception and the domain of the ego.

The subconscious: the realm of fear or love

The level of the subconscious and unconscious has fallen below the level of the conscious or waking mind. The content of your fear has been protected from the immediate perception of consciousness. One of Sigmund Freud's greatest achievements was understanding the nature of the subconscious and the unconscious.

The subconscious is divided into levels of fear and levels of love. The level of fear is closer to the conscious level of the mind. The level of love is called the miracle level in UCIM and is where miraculous impulses are born. The miraculous level is the response of the Higher Self or Holy Spirit to the ego's fear level and is BELOW the fear level.

According to ACIM the conscience awakens and does not send impulses to your body. itself, receives impulses only from ABOVE, where the superconscious is located, or from BOTTOM, the subconscious or unconscious area.

Detect pulses

When consciousness recognizes impulses from above, from superconsciousness, has a revelation, a moment of realization. Man enters into communion with his Creator or God.

When consciousness receives an impulse from below, it is at the level of fear or at the level of love. When a person allows miracles or love impulses to enter his consciousness, he enters into connection with another person or spirit.

Wit, in this context, means that any Other life energy flowing through another person can be represented by humanity, but also by an animal, a tree, the wind or the sea, anything that carries the energy of life.

The art of living a happy and fulfilling life is to deny or ignore fearful impulses and recognize and follow miraculous or loving impulses. Love impulses open the channels necessary to receive impulses from the superconscious.

It is also interesting to observe how we physically perceive love and fear in our stomach and heart, that is, moments of revelation. they are perceived from outside the body.
